Harmony Michelle Johnston was born September 12th 1985 in Tampa Bay, Florida. She was the second of two children born to David and Becky Johnston. Harmony had a very typical and normal childhood. Although she was kinda shy as a little girl, she found comfort in playing various summer league sports like softball and soccer, and she was also involved in performing in various school choir functions and plays. She graduated high school in 2003 and chose to attend college in New York, mostly to get away from Florida and experience something new.
While in college, Harmony thrived not only academically but socially as well. She wasn't involved in any on campus clubs, but she still made friends very easily. It was through one of these friends that she met her, well, on again off again boyfriend, Jared. One night, she and some friends went to an Flight 420 concert. As it turned out, one of her fellow concertgoers knew one of the tech guys who had to set things up in between sets. This friend got them all backstage passes, and thus, Harmony meant Jared that night.
The two bonded very quickly and began dating regularly before the end of Harmony's first year of college. She noticed a change in herself as she was becoming pretty infatuated with Jared and him with her. About a year into the relationship, they began to get serious, which terrified Jared. Their relationship ended as it had began: quickly. Until fairly recently, Harmony had had no contact with Jared. Regardless of the fact that they both lived in New York, keep in mind that NYC is a fairly huge city, a person can go many lifetimes and not know all the names of the people that call it home.
After the breakup, Harmony found out that she was pregnant with Jared's child. Although she was a bit upset that this happened, she was bound and determined to give her child a wonderful, good life with or without a father. With the help of her parents and close friends, she was able to continue to go to school while pregnant. Jolie Alexandra Baroni came, kicking and screaming, into the world on June 25th 2006. Immediately, Harmony felt a very strong bond to her daughter and vowed to be the best mother she could possibly be.The following June, she graduated from college with a degree in early elementary education. Harmony had always loved children, but being a mother inspired her to want to be a teacher for little ones who were so much like her own baby girl.
When Jolie was old enough, Harmony enrolled her daughter in daycare. She got the shock of her life in late 2009 when she received a phone call from Jared. As it turned out, Jare's own niece, Cami, was enrolled at the same daycare that Jolie attended and the two little girls were actually best friends. Jare had gone to pick up Cami and noticed Jolie immediately, seeing the strong resemblance between his former girlfriend and this baby girl. He was able to get Harmony's phone number from one of the daycare teachers and called her, confronting her about the situation, asking questions. Finally, she broke down and told him that, yes, Jolie was his daughter, but the reason that he never knew until now was because she was afraid to tell him.
She invited him to go to the park one day with Jolie and her. That was when she confessed absolutely everything, and she even revealed that she had never stopped loving him. As it turned out, the feelings were very mutual and the two reunited that day. |
